Best Milk book series

Best Milk (series)

By Kate Carothers
Illustrated by Jessica Scheberl

Picture book
Ages 3-7

Kate as an IBCLC understands how important breastfeeding and breastmilk is and I am thrilled to see she has created this series for young children to learn about breastfeeding babies.

I love finding children's books that show breastfeeding in their illustrations as just a part of every day life of having a baby and this blog was created in part to share these wonderful books.

What I really think is helps these books stand apart from other children's breastfeeding books that are available is Kate had opted to include different families in each on. This makes it simple for people looking for the perfect book best matches your family visually.

To dates, there are three different families choose from and Jessica has done a fantastic job with those illustrations.

I really am happy to see that one of the books is also available with English/Spanish as an option as well.

What could make this wonderful series even better? Kate could expand on this series to include more families and languages in the future.

Have you read any of these books? What was your favorite part?
