Incidents and Injuries

Canada
In Canada, the company has received one report of tip-over and two reports of injuries.

United States

The company has received 16 reports of the toddler tower tipping over, including 10 reports of injuries, six of which were head contusions.

The Toddler Towers were sold online at TheSimplay3company.com, Amazon.com, Target.com, Walmart.com, and other online sites as well as in stores like Buttercup Baby Store, Fun Stuff, and Midstates.

These towers were sold from November 2018 to June 2023 for about $90.

Actions to Take

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Simplay3 Toddler Towers and contact the company for more information and to receive a free set of stabilizing bases to be attached to the toddler tower.

My Thoughts

Since these products have been sold since 2018 all the way through this summer in 2023 there are going to be a lot of them for sale privately or have been donated to daycares and drop in centers for toddlers.

I hope that people can share this information and also that the online places like Facebook Marketplace are using their advanced technology to prevent these from being sold without the repair being done.

I truly hope these companies start to do a better job of doing safety checks before they send products out out into the world.

As always, please share! Jacqui
